UFlows is a small company based in the Netherlands. It is a a spin-off from the Multi-Scale Physics department of the Delft University of Technology.
A lot of research has been done to develop turbulence, vegetation and dispersion models for urban environments. The knowledge and systems were highly bounded to the university since performing research with this level of accuracy and computational power needs a specialized approach. During the Masters Thesis of Benjamin ter Kuile he realized that it would be a great opportunity to bring the developed knowledge to the market to elevate the current state of urban simulations to the next level.
